Welcome to DayJam ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

- Content you create or share (posts, captions, photos or videos, audio, comments, ratings, and messages)
- Contacts you choose to provide or use with a social or discovery feature
- Communications with us, including support and safety reports
Information Collected Automatically
- Device information (device identifier, device type, operating system, and browser type)
- Usage data (features used, searches, content viewed, and product interactions)
- Location data (precise or coarse location) when you enable a location-based feature or grant permission
- Diagnostic data (crash data, performance data, and other technical diagnostics)

DayJam does not use this information to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. Device permissions, including location, contacts, photos, camera, and microphone, remain under your control in iOS Settings.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our Service
- Create and manage your account
- Enable you to share music moments with others
- Personalize your experience, including account-linked feed and discovery features
- Send you notifications about activity on your posts
- Respond to your comments, questions, and requests
- Measure reliability, diagnose crashes, and analyze product usage and performance
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity
4. Sharing of Information
We may share your information in the following situations:
- Public Content: Your posts, profile, and username are visible to other users
- Service Providers: Hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, diagnostics, content-delivery, notification, and safety providers that process information on our behalf
- Connected Services: Music or sign-in providers when you deliberately connect or use those services
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger or acquisition
We do not sell your personal information. Our service providers may use it only to provide contracted services to DayJam, subject to their agreements and applicable law.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information while your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request account deletion in the iOS or Android app under Settings. On Android, open Danger Zone, select Delete Account, type "delete", and tap Request Account Deletion. A request starts a seven-day cancellation period. After that deadline, our privacy team begins removing the account, account-linked personal data, and user-generated content. Processing may take up to 30 days, and we will confirm completion using the contact information tied to the account.
We may retain narrowly limited records when required by law or necessary to document fraud, abuse, safety, or deletion compliance. Where retention is required, we remove or de-identify account identifiers when reasonably possible and do not use retained records to continue providing the deleted account.
Deleting the app from your device does not delete your account. Use the in-app Delete Account control or contact admin@dayjam.com if you cannot access the app or need help with an existing request.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Data portability
- Withdraw a device permission in iOS Settings
7. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
8. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Third-Party Services
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services (such as music streaming and sign-in providers). Information you send directly to a third party is governed by that party's privacy policy. We are not responsible for independent third-party privacy practices.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
